Event Jan_Mar 2016

The Holistic Therapy Class will continue in Jan 2016, break for Chinese New Year and will start again in Mar 2016. In view of the feedback from some guests, we will have the options to continue the class for 3 consecutive weeks.  
Days of practice: Monday to Friday
Time                  : 10am - 4pm ( lunch break from 11.30am till 2pm)

Therapy Class Reports
2 simple reports from 2 patients who have attended our therapy course recently.
Q: What do you like most about the training/event?
1. Ms C, age 50s, history of minor stroke.
A: It is easy to learn, very practical and informative. It relates our body illness to our emotion and state of mind.
Q: How will the event benefit you in your job or during your daily life activities?
A: I couldn't sleep well before the course. Sometimes I have had to depend on laxative to ease my bowel and I felt tired most of the time. But now, all these are gone. I feel energetic because I sleep well and there is no more pain in my head, no need to use laxative. Awareness has improved, so has the Qi.
I strongly recommend this course to those who wish to improve their health and to improve the clarity of the mind.
2. Ms C, breast cancer.
Q: What do you like most about the training?
A: Learning about qi and the theory, I have never learnt qigong before and only knew a little from the books saying that qigong can cure sickness and to improve health. I like the practice and the theory! Both have helped me to understand more about qi and to experience the existence of qi and how wonderful it can be.
Q: How will the event benefit you in your job or your daily activities?
A: Improve my sleep quality! I can sleep well now, better than before. I only realized what “good sleep” is after attending the course. The lump in my breast has become smaller and is not painful anymore. (I have breast cancer.) I am aware of the changes of my emotions! The emotion is the key to my health problem. I have learnt this from the theory and proved it on myself! When I felt down, in a rush, my heart beat and condition of qi is very hard to control!

Guided group therapy in the morning session

Individual therapy session for 15-20 mins (we will guide you through to reinforce the practices to improve your health condition)

Therapy Class

Therapy class is kick-start at Serenity Therapy and Health Centre now.

The class can be formed whenever there are 2 person and above, to the max of 5 person.  The duration of each section will be for 2 weeks. In the morning, we will have brief lecturing session of the theoretical part, and we will have group practice to strengthen the collective information field. Each of the participants will have daily personal therapy session, and would be guided through a specific sets of exercises.   The afternoon practice is for the individual to practice on their own while personal therapy is being conducted.

Feedback from the participants:
-The body becomes more relax after the group exercise, and become "lighter" (further relax) after the personal therapy session.
- The mind becomes calmer.
- Too relax until fell into sleep and it was a quality sleep.  
- Could feel the Qi inside the body and being regulated...

What do you like most about the training / event?
I loved that it was very practical, hands on, I experienced everything I was meant to with the guide of Pei See and her teaching was very simple and down to earth and easy to understand. I also loved the fact that I managed to calm my mind and control my emotions within such a short period of time. I have not felt this way for years!! 

How will the event benefit you in your job or during your daily life activities? Please describe. 
Life changing. I have a very stressful job and lived a very stressful life. I had trouble sleeping properly, had breathing difficulties when I was stressed, had low energy levels no matter how much I slept. At times I felt depressed. Since learning a few exercises I feel reborned and alive again. My energy levels have been so high I no longer need to take coffee anymore (I used to have 6 cups to just get me by). My loved ones around me have noticed a significant change in my attitude and character being more lifely,energetic and happy. 

Will you attend if we are offering some other courses or upgrading courses?
Yes definitely if I am able to take time off work for it or if it does not clash with my schedule.

Other remarks:

I guess the only thing I believe we could have improved on was a written description of the exercises we were performing and going into detail of it as a documentation and reference as although I remembered most of it I did forget some of it (of which some I would have to ask again etc etc). That was why I was rushing to write of notes at times :P I belief that alot of other people especially older people  may not grasps or forget sections to their exercises or may perform it wrongly . If there is a detail description for example : like in my profession  a written therapeutic guideline for people to take home they can adhere to it much better. In our veterinary profession this helps increase client compliance towards ie medicating their animals correctly. 
Serenity THC:We will look into developing a standard instruction to guide the person, while we have many techniques applied for different health condition, we need some time to develop it.  Thanks for the suggestion. ; - )




At Serenity Therapy and Health Centre, personal coaching is designed to fit the individual's health condition.  First the priority will be onto setting the right mindset and understanding of our therapy methods, we explained by quoting the personal experience. We further explain the emotional conditions vs our physical body, and what we can do to handle the emotional imbalance.  These are not only theoretical lecturing, we blended with physical exercises and personal therapy to create a better experience so that the participant can practice on their own whenever and wherever he/she required.  Towards end of the course, we get our participant to feedback.
